Soï 28 Street Food Festival

Where Zurich’s fine dining meets street food.

On Sunday, August 30, the neighborhood around the Widder Hotel will transform into a culinary stage for the Soi 28 Street Food Festival.

From 12:00 pm to 11:00 pm, twelve chefs will take turns cooking in pairs, bringing their personal culinary signatures to the street – with dishes that show how exciting, diverse, and accessible haute cuisine can be today.

Hosts are Stefan Heilemann, Executive Chef of the Widder Restaurant, awarded two Michelin stars and 18 GaultMillau points, and Miguel Marques, Head Chef of Soi 28. Together with the Soi 28 team, they are bringing renowned guest chefs to Zurich – personalities known for their individual style, precision, and passion for relaxed indulgence.

Soi 28 provides the perfect stage: an independent, urban food culture that combines Asian flavors, international influences, and the ease of street food with the precision of fine dining.

Throughout the day, twelve chefs will alternately present their creations, each prepared live on site in pairs. Among them are Stefan Heilemann, Stefan Jäckel, Daniel Zeindlhofer, Richi Schmidkonz, Sebastian Rösch, Dario Moresco, Alessandro Scaccia, Silvio Germann, Antonio Colaianni, Florian Stolte, Dan Shu, and Miguel Marques.

The culinary range extends from Asian-inspired signature dishes to reinterpreted classics and surprising street food creations. Dishes will be offered in limited portions and priced at CHF 15.

The festival will be accompanied by long drinks, Perrier-Jouët Champagne, beer, and other beverages from the Widder Bar. DJ Nici Faerber will provide the perfect atmosphere with a dynamic and eclectic mix of music.
